Calypso originated in Trinidad but it'ss very similar to our baila. When I first listened to calypso I was surprised by the similarity. I'm a Sri Lankan married to a Trinidadian. Their food and music is very close to ours specially te curry they make.

@danmarkguy -everyone in this world should be loved and looked after - but I think we have lost our innocence because of things that we are told is progress. Look at the mobile phone it seems innocent but it damages the body so much. We all need the basic needs to live like warmth, hot water, healthy food but western people feel a certain supperiority I think because they have these unlike easter countries. But they are controlled and manipulated even more so than the east because of these.

sure you are right, but why should they live like 2000 years ago ? For us it is nice, but for those who live there..........Would you you like without electricity, hot water etc. ?

it is sad although sri lankans look awkward next to those in the west they have naturalness that has disappeared in the west. Their natural beauty and enjoyment is seenin this video unlike the hyped videos of western pop music
