Most Americans know little if anything about Canada, nor do they care. Having lived in the United States for over three years I know this to be true. Many believe our doctors are less qualified than their own. They believe themselves to be more free than we are, yet their system of laws is more punitive as are other institutions more restrictive. Ecomonically speaking it was mostly cheeper to live there (if one shopped carefully), but I am grateful for my country and glad to be home.
