I reinstalled my OS though I'm not sure I got it? so my goal is to clean my hard drive and reformat the hard drive and than install a fresh copy of windows. and I don't want to swap hard drives just use the same one K?

if i download WIN7, on my laptop (vista atm)
will i be able to install the WIN7 OS and delete everything on the laptop?
(dont have reboot disks or anything like that)

@MrHpWizard You don't need to worry about your recovery drive, it's a read only drive used for restoring your computer to it's factory image (essentially what it was when you got it out of the box for the first time)
