  • Very good. You know Ludwig very well. Freddy Kempf is my favorite but you have a great feel for this era and for Beethoven. I would like to hear your Chopin. You are a very gifted pianist. I just turned 58 today and really like your performance!

Dear David, you can find a bit more information on Sviatoslav Richter simply by "googling" his name... ;)

    Happy birthday!

  • @truecrypt I love how he directly addresses Richter in such a casual, matter-of-fact way. Simply precious.

  • @Pogouldiwitz

    I do to! ;)

  • As the exposition shifts to Ab Major, I've tried to sweeten that section up. I don't think the way he bangs the Ab Major cadence makes sense.

I like the way he pulls the triplets though.

FDA warning - be careful with sweeteners! ;) What doesn't make sense now may become very clear later...

but i think this interpretation is wrong

but goddamn his sound is amazing

  • I would like to Rachmoninoff's Prelude in C# Minor, please.

  • @truecrypt I admire and respect your tact :)

  • Perfect, especially nuance at harmonic minor movement with ostinato is incredible.

  • truecrypt--Thanks for the birthday greeting and info. I am always looking for talent to hook up to agents, etc. Just got a reply from a major agent about a young songwriter. I believe things will go well for both of them! David
