Companion cube porgress report 1

ok. holadays are comeing fast. im unemployed and need a kickass gift for my frend. i ventured in the doller tree and find great craftables. like this stirofome cube that can be molded into a companion cube. (wich my frend would kill for) and a few materals more. *paints enamles, shell AI computer system* i can make a companion cube from the game portal! :D

UPDATE: for those looking to make one... DO NOT USE styofoam. NOTHING will work with it without melting it. i wound up haveing to use clay to make a model to make a mold from. then pouring a cast of one but if your just looking for something that looks like one for deco only.. you can go this route and just use water colors on it

iv yet to get that thing made. im gonna try again when it gets warmer. freezing cold right now and any crafting attempts outside is butcher lol

Im making a cubic foot companion cube out of foam board, poster board and using hot glue and a couple of sewing pins to hold the bottom panel toghter, you should see it! yours looks pretty good.
