  • London have less skyscrapers than New York, Tokyo or Singapur (they 4 are the most important financial centers in the world) but that's ok, London have a lot of history and culture and that's more important!

PD: sorry for my english, I speak spanish

  • @mallworld95 Your English is perfect and definitely better than my Spanish. Thanks a lot for rating and commenting. It's good to read all your comments about the Shard.

Do check out my newest London Shard February 2012 video too. Thanks. :-)

  • china is putting up 400-600 meter buildings every year, the shard is amazing but if we want to show our prosperity and power we need more over the 400 mark!

  • @1unitedtillidie Thanks for your comment and rating! :-)

London is well recognised as the financial capital of Europe and every once in a while a nice shiny new building appears for the sake of it. :-)

  • this is pathetic considering its london! we should have more skyscrapers and bigger ones!!

  • @BanTaaax :-) The city of London is working on the problem as we speak.

Thanks for your comment and rating.

  • @whitbyjet65 That said, most people don't know the extent of New York City's architecture (aside from the Art Deco era skyscrapers) ... diversity... or culture.. Just what they see in movies, tourist videos, and/or TV. Both London and NYC are in a class of their own.

  • @BanTaaax london is a historycal city, its not a city for a masive newyork like skyline, what makes london amazin is the blend of the old and the new

  • @BanTaaax I disagree. New York is a great city but it doesn't have London's depth & history. There's more to a city than tall buildings. I love skyscrapers but I love London for its massive diversity when it comes to architecture.

  • @1unitedtillidie It isn't just about height. London has staggering architecture and it's the variation that makes the city great. Gothic, art deco, Victorian, Edwardian, neo-classical, Tudor, brutalist, modernist, ancient, minimalist...the city has everything.

  • @1unitedtillidie it would look stupid having a very tall random skyscraper sticking out of London and these Asian Cites are characterless London has its own famous character so building huge skyscrapers all over the place would look ridiculous just a few is fine
