Unfortunately, I'm going to have to stop the solo videos here (I just can't combo well with Philia with her low CC on the first playthrough), it should be alot easier on my second playthrough with Extend CC, etc.

Anyway, since Aurabolt wanted to see me do a battle with the party kept relatively intact, and I wanted to do that originally with my first Barbatos video, I have done another party battle with the help of my brother.

This is alot harder than doing it solo.
As you can see Barbatos can take you out in one or two hits.
There were a couple of points in this video where I thought we were dead for sure.
But, it was really fun to record this video.

Hope you enjoy it!

  • Tales series fights:

AWESOME FIGHTING FOR... 2 seconds. Then pause and use item/assign command/wipe sweat from hands, then unpause for 2 MORE SECONDS OF AMAZING AWESOMENESS.

At least Half-Minute Hero was honest about itself.

ANYWHO, assuming this dungeon is in the endgame, how is Leon there?

  • @Axelhander They have Narikiri Dolls in this game that you equip to one character to turn them into another.

For Instance, if I were to equip a Narikiri Rutee Doll to Philia, I would have 2 Rutees in the party, and you can buy dolls of every character, for all kinds of party combinations! :D

I think they should let you set up shortcuts for items, like assign a Life Bottle to a certain button combination, that way you wouldn't need to go through the menu, I think that would be cool.

  • @XSanosukeXInaraX lol I just kid around, it was just a really fun video to record with my brother, Jeffrey. :D

  • @Jeffrey6978 Yeah. O'course, that's not to say this isn't a good vid, cuz it is. But, I mean, I've seen some your OTHER vids that are better. Hell, even some of your other ToD: DC ones.

  • @XSanosukeXInaraX @snowfox100 I'm going to have to agree with XSanosukeXInaraX on this one.

There are plenty of amazing videos on YouTube, and not just game videos either. A lot of videos on here have inspired me in one way or another.

  • @Jeffrey6978 Ah, cool, thanks for the info.

Keep in mind I'm not against having items per se, and while way more Tales games held my interest then, say, Kingdom Hearts, in that one it didn't feel real-time just occasionally. Just adding some context to my prior post.

  • @snowfox100 no. :D

  • Easily the best video on youtube. EVER!

  • @jvsforever Well it says "(PS2)" in the title, so I'll assume yes. :P

There are three versions of Tales of Destiny:

    Tales of Destiny (PS1) - 1997 - Original game.

Tales of Destiny (PS2) - 2006 - Remake of the game, this is the version used in this video.

Tales of Destiny Director's Cut - 2008 - Everything from the 2006 version, plus new features.

There is also a Tales of Destiny 2 on the PS2 from 2002, it picks up 18 years after Tales of Destiny leaves off.

  • @Jeffrey6978 Is this the version for PS2? i looked other videos and they are different...
