kc,ethereal w/ emphasis on the real, .Nothing like it...Patty Griffin, Dar W.Patty Larkin and Tori....But a young Ani set the path in many ways (thanks Ani.) Many others also.....yes poets singing from the heart.
I am in bad need of a dark cafe and a pint, setting in the back while a "chick with a guitar" sings....man I love live music...
Would go to a poetry slam but if I mentioned that I would get blank stares in my circle....precious youth, squander not your mind, time or freedom...

I've seen Ani SO MANY TIMES up here in New England in the last 10 years! I am greatful for this! Just, fantastic talent! One of the BEST EVER!
