President praises Welch work on efficiency, Part 2

President Obama singled out Rep. Peter Welchs work advocating for an energy efficiency jobs program today at an event in Alexandria, Va., on Dec. 15, 2009.

Speaking to an audience of workers, manufacturers and business owners at a local Home Depot, Obama praised Welch for, working to jumpstart our retrofit ehttp://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload?error=savemdfforts around the nation.

The event follows Obamas announcement last week that Welchs home retrofit jobs program referred to by some as Cash for Caulkers or Home Star was among the Presidents three priorities in forthcoming job creation legislation.
