STOP THIS MADNESS! We should not be basing the "qualifacations" of the judges of our highest court on race, sex, or a good life story. In case you haven't noticed, that is all her supporters mention when trying to say what a great nominee she is. I can't believe how weak our system has become...this bitch has been caught on tape saying things that would otherwise keep other judges from being even considered.....WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

The Supreme Court overturns about 75% of the cases they choose to hear. That means 60% (which is not even close to being a factual statistic) is actually pretty good.

Great choice by Obama!! Sotomayor has impressive credentials and a compelling life story. Sotomayor's mother worked 6 days a week as a nurse to send Sonya and her brother to Catholic School. Sanchez makes a great point that the Repugs will have to consider the blowback from knocking the first Latina nominated to the top court. Add to that the blowback from knocking a Catholic whose single mom was a hard-working nurse. Single moms, Hispanics, Catholics ... Watch out !!!

This appointment proves one thing about the GOP.. That is, they are a Racist Party. This is because, as they look for reasons to block Sonia Sotomayor, a Latina Woman with more experience than anyone on the Supreme Court, they will not be able to justify the ethics. In the eyes of Millions, they are Racist and lack any creditable value to American Society. If you can't trust them, to acknowledge a good nomination, and a good candidate, then they can't ever be trusted.. Now Go Away GOP.
