Ravi Shankar Kuar Singh - began his studies in Tabla with Smt. Hem Mathur in 1993, at the India School of Dance Music and Theatre in Winnipeg, Canada. An exceptional classical vocalist and graduate of the Bhatkande School of Music, Smt. Mathur trained Ravi in the complex systems of taals, accompaniment, and composition solidifying within Ravi a firm foundational knowledge of the Tabla. In 2003 Ravi Singh was awarded the Senior Arts Fellowship from the Shastri-Indo Canadian Institute to study in India. Ravi began his studies in India under the guidance of famed tabla maestro, Pandit Kumar Bose. A living legend, Pt. Bose is one of the most dynamic and influential classical Tabla players of today. The standard torch bearer for the Benaras tabla Gharana, Pt. Bose was trained under the great Benaras Maestro, Pt. Kishen Maharaj. Learning with Pt. Bose elevated Ravi's passion for the Tabla and emphasised the importance of intense traditional training when studying Indian classical arts

Uwe Neumann, Sitar and Sansa, has lived and studied full time for 10 years in India with the sitarmaestro Pandit Indranil Bhattacharya and received a Bachelors and Master-of-Music Degree on Sitar from Indian University in Shantiniketan. He had studied classical guitar and jazz-rock in Germany 1974-86. He founded Ragleela in 1990 and had many classical, world-music and television concerts all over India, including a unique performance at the Millennium-Concert for H.H. the Dalai Lama in Benares, at the Alliance Francaise in Pondicherry, at the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture with tabla virtuoso Subhen Chatterjee and in the prestigious hall Rabindra-Sadan in Calcutta.
