A compilation of practices. I work a bit with incorporating my previous experience with west coast swing and other social dance into this. It melds into creating a more "3D" effect, as Rich would put it.
I am not skilled at video editing enough to edit out the two mistakes I make, or patient enough to figure out how. I am mentioning this because that irritate me. It's probably silly to mention it. :)

I like the direction you're taking, incorporating your social dance background could be muy interesante, especially if you're thinking of isolations as moving with your hoop as a partner
should we also assume that all bouncybouncyweee productions will always feature an impromptu cameo by one of your burner friends/neighbors? ;)

@orphanEd0 Yes... yes they will. I live in a complex that has a central courtyard and when it's nice out, everyone is out to play.
And that's exactly what I was thinking-- using the hoop as a dance partner. I don't know how on earth I'll create the illusion of lead and follow though... I also have to wonder--who is leading, who is following? I'm going to work with it more today.
