yeah, it is... it's nearly impossible to do it without. i thought the sock was tight but i found out when after i laid the guitar down it was actually very loose. i guess what's what you call power of imagination, hahaha.

i noticed that the sock was actually very loose and didn't really numb the strings but i thought it was tight - that's the power of imagination i guess, haha! far from perfect, honestly, but i'm working on it. i've got to do sth about my tone, it really annoys me atm!
