I saw Robbie jump from barge to barge, on the St. John's River in Jacksonville, Florida. The guy is an American hero in my book, and I will always be a fan.

I saw Evel jump in the basement of the Nassau coliseum in, I think it was 1974-75 I was about 9-10 yrs old. He jumped a small row of motorcycles. Anyway, as he was walking to his bike we were all leaning on this temporary fence and it collapsed and I fell at his feet and he helped me up and said something like "your that excited you knocked the fence down" or something like that. I still have the program from that night. Anyway, he made the jump and his head cleared the ceiling by about 8" !!!
