Medvedev blames U.S. for world financial crisis

The aggressive financial policies of the United States push more and more people into poverty around the world, according to the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. He made the statement during a speech at the 12th International Economic forum in St. Petersburg.

i guess the US gets the blame for any economic down turn. but when u learn that the US is a large portion of the whole world economy, Russia and China are trying to be big free markets like the US and that downturns and upturns are a part of the natural cycle......does passing blame really matter?

It would take pages - let us start with the US Appraisal System, it is basically corrupt. Then we go to everybody in your Finance Industry on Commission - corrupted by the Commissions - the bonus at the end of the month or year was more important than lending sensibly. Many of these loans then sold to Foreign Banks in bulk - supposedly secured by assets. They were not.
