Great job, great sound. So nice to hear someone get off the standard bright sound. I love your sound, but please tell us; how much of that sound comes from onboard EQ, how much from your pre-amp, and how much from FX? Thanks, that would be very interesting.

@TheDaveWallace the onboard eq is pretty heavy on this bass. i then used a presetting from my pod x3 called something like sub-bass, thats really deep and basically most of the sound comes from this setting, there may be a pre-amp in front of that but idk...

@l3ittersweet i recorded the bass with the pod x3, there are plenty of bass tones. as for strings im using elixir strings, its 75€ a set but worth it since i dont use the bass that often and they still sound awesome after over 2 years

if melodic and tap stuff is your style then go for it! excellent bass, it has a huge variety in sound and a nice finish. probably one of the best basses in this price-range.
