hi th room i had had a fountain view but they do not charge for it you can tell them you want a room that is on northeast side so you can have foutain view

Staying at Vdara this April (2011). Got a north facing deluxe suite on a higher floor (crucial for a good view) with the media center that splits the living room area from the bedroom area.. That is known as option 1. If you want a deluxe suite that is just one large room without the media center in the middle and only one TV, ask for option 2 with the deluxe suite. It's just as nice. THE Hotel @ Mandalay Bay is also very nice; non-gaming, but they do have hotel rooms for smokers.

Wow.. Logical choice, vdara the new city center suite hotels comparing to mandalay bay an average hotel with a beach pool... Obviously city center.. All rooms are suites and your a minutes walk from the aria and bellagio..

I have a choice to stay at Mandalay Bay or Vdara and I don't know which one to choose. If you have been to Mandalay Bay please tell me reasons why you liked your stay at Vdara

@elevatorwarrior I stayed over for two nights, amazing views 42th floor. my room was 1400 sqf, its faily large footage.

@elevatorwarrior my room was 1400 sqf. i would consider a large size room. two full master bedroom and a half bath, full size kitchen, oven, microwave, huge fridge, dish washer, 4 stoves, cloth washer and dryer, 5 TVs, full size living room and dining room.

It looks like an apartment i would find in Irvine

@Greenkai3000 I like Vdara better, a lot of nonresident of Aria go to Aria for casino or meals, so valet took too long. I stay over at Vdara and no smoke smell since V doesnt have casino
