GTA 4 on [Pentium 4 + 4670]

Gameplay footage of Rockstar's GTA IV on my old pentium 4 computer.

This video is for technical purposes only, which is intended to showcase the barely passable performance on a low end machine on low settings.

Pentium 4 3.2Ghz HT
Sapphire Ati Radeon 4670 HD 512MB
3GB DDR2 800
Windows XP SP3

Now it IS playable, as l've almost finished the game, but @ 20-25 fps outdoor and 30-35 fps indoor, its a little, staggering to play...

All settings on Low/Off, Texture filtering on highest = AF (No performance hit) All view distances on lowest 0/1

thanks for the vid, got a similar system (P4 Prescott 3.4Ghz) and was looking to buy a new gfx card, and needed an idea how the 4670 handled :-)

(i'd love to know how fast it is compared to my existing X600 though !)

Buy the 1gb 4670 if you can, gta 4 sucks mem

Last month l got an AMD Athlon II x4 Quad OC'd to 3.33ghz from 2.6 stock + ddr3 1800, same gpu though, runs NICE...so a vid of that to come soon =)

Its your processor are causing trouble trouble, if you having a quad core or a i7

you get around 25-35 fps in medium-high
