What is it with mass instrument production in Indonesia? How is Fender able to churn out winning designs like the Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz Bass and keep their costs so low? Were we a website dedicated to uncovering international labor injustices we'd probably follow up on that train of thought, but we're not, so we won't. Instead, Owen will assume that happy workers make happy customers, and bid a sincere "terima kasih" to the fine craftspeople who put together this excellent bass.

As with all Fender / Squier instruments that carry the "Vintage Modified" model name modifier, the righteous Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz Bass sports Duncan Designed pickups, impressive build-quality, and a throw-back aesthetic. This particular fretless jazz bares striking resemblance to the bass once played by one John Francis Anthony "Jaco" Pastorius III, minus the burn-marks from Joe Zawinul's laser-stare.
