The Gull, Douglas Cain 2009 korg dss 1

This video is from an ongoing series of videos about my experiences with the natural environment and natural phenomena that I see in the Bay Area. The sound was created using re-sampled sound from acoustic guitar and found sonar samples. The sampled sounds were created with a vintage Korg DSS-1 sampling synthesizer routed through an EML 101 and Moog delay. All sound and video © Douglas Cain, 2009.

Hi, thanks I enjoyed that. I like combined acoustic and electronic sounds, particularly with some analogue processing. I'm thinking about getting a DSM-1. Seems like a capable instrument.
