  • This is an excellent recording! I enjoy the speed in which you play this work. If you have ever noticed, other organists play this deadfully slow. Great job.

  • @sigmo75 Many thanks! I tend to agree about the tempo ... I prefer a more jubilant feel for this work. I like it to be "sparkling"! But I firmly believe there are many viable interpretations! :-)

  • Do you mean where the organ is located inside of Woolsey Hall? If so, it is towards the front positioned right in front of the stage.

  • J.S.Bach Organ Works are always a voyage to heaven. This is a perfect and beautiful organ sound. Does anyone know where the organ stands?

  • Sounds like a nice performance, but it would be easier to tell if the (1) microphones had been closer and (2) the recording level had been fixed, as then the sound would have been less confused. Regrettably, as it is, it's a recording I wouldn't want to keep.
