They actually sound quite similar...

@LordWormx420x Not on the first album. They shared lead vocal duties for different songs

@unorthodox41 these songs are off contradictions callapsed when jens played rythm guitar Fredrick just did back up vocals Jens stoped playing guitar so he could scream better all the lead vocals are Jens
-
Fredrik kinda sounds the vocalist from Mastadon
-
lol most of the old meshuggah songs sound like metallica...
there new album obzen is just kickin assss
-
@AllaboutPV1 I know he does some spoken word, don't think any actual screaming.
-
Backing vocalists are allways best if they sound like the main singer.
Best example was Ozzy Osbourne with Zakk Wylde - equal voices when singing.
And btw. Jens and Fredrik are extreme vocalists and you've chosen the weakest vocal parts for the comparison.
I don't get the point and purpose of this audiotrack. Sry

@eviltube1111 didn't tomas haake do the vocals for sol niger within? i could be wrong but i know he does at least some on the album.
Absolutely awful comparison. Try Sol Niger Within (Fredrik) with Catch 33/Chaosphere (Jens)

OMFG!!! Am I the only one or does it also seem to others as Jens Kidman sounds somewhat like an extremely pissed James Hetfield in the times of ... And Justice For All??? And WTF? That riff of Erroneus Manipulation sounds so damn like ...AJFA!!! This is kinda weird, but that's what I just heard...

on a slightly related note, I think the The Thing That Should Not Be has had an influence on Erroneus Manipulation, on some parts on the song and the solo... just slightly anyways.
