I don't care how much faster the BMW is, Ducati is art, BMW is what BMW does best: great machines, with crappy looks and no soul. Bikes like Ducati's and MV Agusta's command a premium because they're rare, beautiful, passionate, they stir the soul.

Look back to the 70s, 80s, 90s we can talk about it. But today they sold it all to be fucking hundredth of a second faster than the competition, so I do not know why are you arguing, crap on Italian way or Japanese or German...big deal they all look like crap...

Had a 2011 and 2012 s1000rr, precise, nicely put together machines. My 12 I could easily ride for hours, rip the highways up..........then my good friend got an hp4, made me go out there and trade my BMW for a long waited 13 Duc 1199R. Not an easy bike to ride, but let me tell u something..............u want looks, u want soul, u want sound, anything u can think of and then some. So if anybody thinks it lacks anything I just mentioned, wake up and smell the coffee.
