lol what the hell was that!?? hahah

very nice dude. just a heads up if ur at a strongman comp they may not let u rest the bar on ur belt.
-
Yeah? I hope you do great! One last tip - try the axle shirtless, and use a little chalk on your midsection. The bar will have a much easier time staying in place and you'll lose less energy getting up to the press.

Some idiots don't realize thats A thick bar and that they would shit their pants if they even tried deadlifting 100 lbs on it.
-
what'd you say in that gay paragraph? you're weak? oh yea thats all i needed to hear.
-
It's not a barbell you moron, so I have no idea what this comment could even be addressing.
And go learn what a continental clean is.

i have no expierence with a thick bar, but that looks like it would hurt trying to clean all slow and pausing midway through. i know you cant grip it like a barbell, but that looks dangerous? no?

Dunno, doesn't really hurt if you have a gut to rest it on (like me, haha)
I don't think its anymore dangerous than any other overhead lift personally. Just have to be careful with it

Nice job Chris - way to stick with it! If you care for some constructive feedback: I've found it WAY more comfortable to press an axle with a thumbs under grip. And realistically, if you're starting to lose it a. you just drop it, and b. your thumbs sure aren't going to stop it.
And I'm sure you already realize, but resting the axle on your belt is grounds for DQ at a meet.
Like I said though, great work ethic - and that split jerk looks sharp!

Thanks. I have tried that before but it just feels plainly uncomfortable for me.
Yeah =P. I think I sorta tapped it (not like a rehband affords much support) but I get what you mean, thanks.
I'm doing my first power meet nov 1st, hopefully it goes well.
