VINTAGE BIPE goes down in CORN FIELD. Rescue team finds it.

Vintage Pitts Biplane runs out of gas and goes down in a corn field.
Amazingly the pilot was not hurt. One of the rescue members fell in the search, but he is okay. No animals were hurt and no damage was done to the plane. It flew again.
This 30 year old Byron Pitts S-2A is a strong bird. It has an unusual sound running a Italian Rossi speed .61 Nitro engine on a belt drive.

The wheel pants were loose, which bound up the wheel (left one) casued the plane to want to tip over on it's nose when taxing.

Thank goodness it went down in the corn field instead of concrete. It probably would have been damaged.
