Whenever I buy a bike, I start finding little nuances, such as the oil light staying on. The Kawasaki mechanic told me that it's normal.

Was it a stunt bike or was the gas tank concaved from the factory. I'm not good with Kawasaki's.

yeah im pretty sure the light just indicates low oil pressure. Since the bike wasnt running i would think everything is fine.

I have a green '06 ZX10R... the oil light flashes because there is no oil pressure when the engine is not running so it is not broken at all. If it flashes when running be very affraid. The stock brake calipers suck [Tokicos]. I bought a pair of ZX14 Nissan front calipers and ceramic pads and the change was night and day!!! I HIGHLY recommend getting the speed bleeders when bleeding the brake system. They bolt right up and you do not need any shims or any special equipment. Email me...
