The american version is based more on the novel, so either versions aren't exactly identical. (Story wise)

This is the weakest out of the trilogy imo, expected a more better ending. Felt a bit disappointed, The Girl Who Played With Fire is my favourite of the trilogy.

Lisbeth Salander is not supposed to be psychotic. She's a very complex character and is not insane. She has an IQ that would be incomprehensible to most of us and photographic memory that is incredible. If you actually critically analyze Salander as a character in the book she is incredibly logical and understands complex problems in a fraction of the time that it would take most people. She is not crazy. She's got an almost superhuman brain.

Ur part of the minority. The Swedish version trumps the American version. Both actors playing Blomkvist did a good job in my opinion but the Swedish girl playing Salander was way better than the American.
