I imagine by now it seems like I'm trolling, and maybe I sort of am...but I find this so disturbing. Have any of these mothers considered the perverts out there who are drooling over these children, dressed up like miniature women? And what about the stress they're under to be "perfect", and perform, and impress judges, and win? What a happy, healthy, meaningful past-time. And what a contribution to their communities, and their future lives.

I know someone who was in pageants when they were younger and they didn't turn out bratty at all. they're in their late teens now and are actually super super nerdy and they don't even wear make up anymore LOL!! it's so weird but sadly, this girl will probably get plastic surgery and more when she's older...sad.
