I took this with my new iPod touch 4th gen so you guys could see the video quality. It looks amazing in bright light outside. Still pictures look great too, but only in bright light, or they get grainy. REMEMBER: watch in HD and FULLSCREEN for the best effect!

SORRY the video is sideways! I don't know how to flip it because I took it in landscape mode on my iPod. =( I don't know why it uploaded weird because it looked fine on my computer.

I actually got this iPod touch by earning money online since I wasn't old enough to have a job at the time. If you are interested in learning how you can do the same, feel free to send me an email at dd_ny@ymail.com. I reply to that faster than my YouTube messages.

3 out of the 5 cats feature in this video are up for adoption. The two females you see in the beginning (the tabby and calico) playing are under a year old, spayed, and have received their rabies vaccine. The black male seen later in the video is neutered, has his rabies vaccine, and is part of the same litter. He is also up for adoption.

The only ones not available to adopt is the dog, they GREY male tabby, and the OTHER calico with the collar.

If you are interested, shoot me an email at dd_ny@ymail.com (once again, I reply to that faster than my YouTube account).

  • As I've stated numerous times, the camera on the iPod touch 4G is adequate for quick, candid shots in decent lighting. It also shoots near-Flip quality videos outdoors, too.

For three hundred dollars, you're getting serviceable cameras, a multi-faceted media player and a aesthetically (but flawed) sleek device. How can you possibly go wrong?

  • @QuietSundayLibrary In bright lighting the HD camera is superb, the still camera is decent. I am quite satisfied, but there is room for improvement on still shots. I still will never understand why people complain so much about the still shots though. They aren't that horrible.

  • @HowToGetFreebies Because our society needs instant gratification and fulfillment. They don't want to make do with what they have because they are driven to be consumers from toddlerhood.

Ranting aside, I find the camera to be good enough for daily shots for Facebook, Twitter or other social networking websites. The quality can be even further improved upon with amazing applications such as "Clear Cam", "More Lomo" and my personal favorite, "Hipstamatic". I urge everyone to give these a try.

  • @QuietSundayLibrary I actually disagree. I don't see anything wrong with judging something you work hard to get the money for. I know I worked hard to get the funds for this thing so I would've complained if the camera was not decent.

My problem with all the complainers is I feel that they are exaggerating the issue. I find the camera to be quite good. But hey, just my opinion, right?

Thanks for the suggestions. What do they all do? I'm gonna try to get them (if they are free! Lol).

  • @QuietSundayLibrary By the way, have you heard of those cases for iPhones that have a magnifying lens on them that go over the back camera to allow for zoom? I'm hoping they make em for the new iPod. They seem to really improve the camera quality.

  • @HowToGetFreebies No, I haven't. I wasn't privy of them until you mentioned it this very second. I can only imagine how such a device would aid not only the iPod touch's back-facing camera immensely, but the magnificent one found on the iPhone 4.

    Incredible.

  • @QuietSundayLibrary The one I heard of is called "Clarifi". I believe its made by Griffin. If you wanna take a look, search Amazon. The neatest feature is that you can slide the lens on and off according to if you need it or not.

By the way, you are a very well spoken individual. Are you big on reading and writing, or does it just come naturally?

  • @thatgirlfromhere thanks

  • @JoeyLoulakis1 I think its because they were holding the ipod vertically while taking the video. But, if you hold it horizontally, it'll be full screen. :D

  • @supperdooper153 click on the little box at the bottom if your iPod while you are looking at your pics and videos and click on send to YouTube :)

  • how do you transfer videos from your ipod touch to youtube?

  • Say something Daniella.

  • @HowToGetFreebies I'm not particularly taken by the literary arts, no....I find this mode of communication comes naturally, that's all. I most humbly thank you for your compliments, however. :)

I'll make sure to check out the suggested case this evening. A friend of mine has an iPhone 3GS, and he'd quite literally kill for a device to improve the quality of his device's camera.

You are, in effect, a lifesaver.

  • @HowToGetFreebies We agree to disagree, although I DO agree with you regarding the baseless complaints surrounding camera quality. If it works, I feel there's no need to bemoan the cameras' supposed mediocre quality.

In regards to the programs, "Clear Cam" purports to improve pixel quality of certain photos. Many times it's noticeable, but there's the rare occasion they may come out worse than without the enhancements.

"More Lomo" and "Hipstamatic" turn your iPod/iPhone into a toy camera.
