One afternoon we decided we had had it with the people next next door.
This is a 200kg counterweight trebuchet. The arm is a combination of glued king post truss and simplified lattice truss design. The stand and arm are made as light as possible and only glued together to prove an engineering point. It threw a 2kg stone some 60m but the trajectory was way too high. It should have thrown at least 100m. The arm ripped then loaded with a 250kg counterweight.
