For the 50th Anniversary they should overhaul the special effects even further.
The actors should be inserted into all CGi backgrounds when they visit alien planets. Similar to what was done in Star Wars Episode 3 Return of the Sith

I did like the matt paintings, but the CGI ship just didn't look good enough, they should model it to look like the model.

@Roadracer987654321: The less any movie resembles SW III the better for all of humanity. The mere fact that SW III exists makes our world that much sadder then it otherwise would be.
