It was 30 plus floors down from the impact zone and the debri was on the outside of the building, the horizontal blast eminates from inside, well inadvance of the debri or any pressure reaching it. It's like if you dropped a dirty dusty bowling bowl from the 100th floor and your on the 50th, the ball and any dirt or debri on it is not going to physically reach you until the actual ball gets to the50th floor Many of those blast even happen extremely far down the building, far away from the debri!
