  • With Minecraft running.

    1. Press ALT+Ctrl+Delete to start Windows task manager.

    2. On the applications tab, right click on Minecraft & click on 'Go to Process'.

    3. Right click on 'Javaw.exe' & set priority to high.

    4. Close task manager.

    5. ???

  • i want to play on normal render distance and when i initially switch the process setting with task manager i can run really smooth/fast on normal render distance however after a while it returns to being slow and somewwhat laggy again :( I'm curious if there is away to run smooth/fast on normal render? would upgrading my java from 32 to 64bit help? i run 25-29 FPS on normal and 48-55 on short render distance (which is really smooth)
