It is definitely a good cover, but it is mainly so due to the powerful and touching story of Ofra Haza. She wrote the lyrics to this song, and it is difficult not to think of her listening to it("the gaze that aches so much.."). As for the recording, many would come and go, but Ofra Haza still stands tall; her performance, her presence on and off screan and beyond any medium, her voice!
It would somehow be unjust to compare passers by to someone as unique as Ofra Haza.

Nice cover! But anything anyone does of Ofra's cannot be compared....she was amazing...listen to this song on Shaday it is in English. Many websites will have the translation as well....
