Hi V,
Oh cool, you have heard about the car too. It was only by chance that I read the newspaper article so am interested to know that others have seen it too.
I am particularly interested in there recycling of materials. I am not to sure about the use of vegetables and biofuels, especially if they divert food crops from human consumption to fuel.
Thanks for your reassurance that I am NOT crazy. lol.
Peter.

thanks for the links, i am gonna checkout. it seems very interesting. I remember a long time ago, there were dudes running their car using french-fries oil from MacDonald. and I have not kept with them, but they were racing and traveling at the same speed like any other cars.
GREEN racing sounds GOOD!
cheers!

Hi Ruben,
At last, something useful from MacDonalds.
I am not sure about this idea. It seems a bit wasteful to use food resources to make and then run a car.

Good on you, you might want to check out my original video first.
Maybe you would think I am crazy.

Hard to imagine a regular racing car achieving similar speeds to one running on vegetable oil, but I'm sure they'd eventually develop something that works. I wonder if they could do the same for planes. I imagine they'd have to devote far to much agricultural resources to produce enough biofuel. Anyway, very interesting. :-)

Hi Maarten,
You have spotted one of the flaws in this idea, that of biofuels, the use of food crops to make fuels. I remain unconvinced that they are environmentally friendly as, as you have pointed out, they require huge amounts of agricultural resources and have seen the demand for food diverted to fuel.
I should have mentioned this in the video.
Thanks for your comment.
Peter.
