nei 60's in Italia, che non era l'UK, i testi erano piuttosto sdolcinati e anche questo (tradotto , di David) non ha fatto eccezione, però ripensando per l'epoca, è OK...!

The italian lyrics were written by a famous italian lyricist named Mogol(he is very famous here,a great artist); they are pretty good if we read them as a text,but I think it had been a very idiot thing to not translating Space oddity literally...but at that time in Italy people used to make covers of famous english songs using "imaginative" translations....I know my english is almost unbearable,but I wish it could be understandable at least.

Hi, I'm Italian ( excuse for my terrible english), I just want to say that the way in which Bowie sings in italian is absolutly oustanding!! The pronunciation is nearly perfect,but even if it hadn't been so,that wouldn't have been so much important,because his own english accent in italian pronunciation makes the song even more fascinating (here in Italy we love to listen to english accent in italian lyrics, I don't know why,but so it is :):))
