If you watched the whole episode it's very clear that Rhod and Greg are very good friends. It's pretty damned funny.

@MayallFan35 I know this is an old post but Greg and Rhod are really close friends off-screen and they're always taking the mick out of each other. Plus, if you think about what kind of comedy Rik Mayall always did (plus the guys making the joke are both TV comediens too like Rik too) I don't see the offence. I *doubt* Rik would find it offensive so you don't need to either. ;) Mind you I see no offence to Rik in that joke regardless (the only offence was to Greg, who liked it). :)

@GitarStu Actually I never noticed the similarity either. But I didn't think there was much when Greg was younger so maybe the slow changes didn't register with me. *shrug* Maybe I'm just slow. :-p

No offence to rik Who I adore by the way but I think greg is prob slimmer then him at the mo as he has put a good bit of weight on age has not been too kind to him but he's still a sexy bastard if I do say so myself
