this isnt game 4!

@gibbs1223 Actually, diving headfirst will cause you to reach the base faster. Think about it: while you leap forward, you're hardly losing any speed, and you convert your height into length across the basepath.
Saying otherwise is like saying it wouldn't help to dive to catch a fly ball.

no in game 4 ortiz singled to center and hit in the game tying run. this was in extra innings

i think this was game 5 not 4.
in game 4 it was ortiz that hit a homer to save the red sox from a sweep

do any of u play baseball? I mean seriously it is so much faster to slide headfirst into first base ive done it honestly. plus thats not even what the mythbusters tested so watch the episode again
-
ur an idiot running through the base is faster the only reason u dive into first is if it is a bad throw and u r trying to avoid a tag...
-
It worked didn't it? Dumbass.

lmfao mythbusters?? yea those guys are wrong 90% of the time.. that show is dumb and fake..they rule everything as busted because they couldnt get it to work, ive seen them do one with one of them toy race car sets from back in the early 90s that u hold the trigger and they go around and around.. if you add water to the track where the plug is in.. it can catch fire when the car passes it.. ive done it as a kid.. they couldnt get it done and called it a myth. when infact it works.
hahaha 0:24 "HOLY SHIT!!!"

One reason somebody might dive head first is because if the first basemen comes off the bag he has to tag you. Being 6 inches from the ground would be a much harder target than 6'2 or 6'3
