Seems to be one of the few videos where they didn't fake the sound of the blast by having it start immediately at the point of explosion.
Assuming of course that they weren't just smarter at faking it this time.

a gas mask wont filter radiation, They would need full radiation suits. Just like xrays radiation can easily penetrate clothing. you could be wearing a full parka and still get over exposed to radiation.
