Catch Me (A Jemi Story) Episode 5 Season 1

A loud crash rang through the school. Everyone looked toward the door.


*Demi got up and ran out the door. She choked up staring at the flowers. She didn't want anyone in the class to see her cry. Especially Joe. Why do I love him? He just ends up hurting me. Ever since the very begining.*

(FLASHBACK.) Joe smiles at Demi. "Why do you have to be so perfect?" Demi laughs. "Me? Perfect? Ha." Joe grabs her hand. "Demi, why won't you let me in?" Demi pulls away. "Only because I think I am falling for you." Demi looks down and lets a tear fall. Joe smiles big and pulls her chin up with his hand. "That's a good thing. Isn't it?" Demi shrugs. "It's scary." Joe pulled her close. "Don't worry. I am falling for you too." (FLASHBACK ENDS.)


(Another one starts.) Joe is smiling at Taylor Swift. "Hey there gorgeous." Taylor laughs. "Hey Joe." Demi walked in behind Joe. Joe winks at Taylor. "Want to see that new movie with me?" She giggles. "Yeah." (At this point Demi and Joe were already together.) Demi gets pissed and about to cry. "What?! No!" Joe looks at her. "Oh, I'm sorry babe. How about you come too?" Demi throws her book at his face. "You're my boyfriend and you want to go see a movie with HER?" Joe looks at Taylor. "Uhh. Yeah?" Demi lets a tear fall as Taylor grins at Joe. "Where in your head does that make sense?" Joe realizes that that would be cheating. "She's just a friend." (FLASHBACK ENDS.)

*I let loose more tears not watching where I was going. Which is where I ended up falling onto Cody?*

"Cody?" I scrambled back up. "I thought you moved." I quickly wiped away my tears. Cody was my ex who moved away. He used to hit me and call me names. I hated him. Still do actually. I backed away.
Cody jumps up and waves at her. What was in his hand? A gun? I inhaled sharply and fast.
Demi: "Cody, why do you have a gun?"
Cody smirked and walked closer to me. I took steps back with every step he took.
Cody: "Demi, Demi, Demi. Always so naive. Why do YOU think I have a gun?" He pointed at me with the hand that was holding the gun and laughed.
Demi: "Cody. Don't hurt me. Please. Don't hurt anyone." I put up both hands.
Cody: "Now why would I hurt you? You're not the one that kicked me out of the school. It was all Miley."
Demi: "Nooo! Not Miley. Please. She's my best friend. Please Cody." By now I was balling. I knew Cody would hurt her. I wasn't stupid.

*With the class. Miley looked at everyone. Should I continue singing? The teacher told Miley to sit down.*
Teacher: "Joe! Go outside and see what happened." She pointed at Joe.
Joe groaned.
Joe: "Not like I have choice." Selena started to laugh. Joe stood up and went to the door.
Joe: "Goodbye class. I must go save the world. Next time you see me I will be a..HERO!" He opened up the door and swiftly jumped out. The class laughed as the teacher rolled her eyes.
Teacher: "Just go already Joseph."

*With Joe: I laughed. And that's why I have starred in 5 plays. Thank you very much. I looked down the hall and freaked out. What I saw will haunt me for the rest of my life.*

With Demi. "Cody listen to me. If you are going to hurt anyone hurt me."
Cody was puzzled. He narrowed his eyes at her.
Demi: "Hurt me. Do it. *I opened my arms wide.* Go ahead. SHOOT!!!"
Joe goes running towards Demi.
Joe: "NOOOOOO! DON'T!"

A gunshot rang through the school.
