I would have loved to have debated Dawkins but he is not up for it at all!

Oh, make no mistake, I did read it - and did indeed think about it.

You started out by saying you would "assume the insults, mocking superiority etc.", and then stated that by doing so you would "save [them] the effort of posting them."

Then, and only then, did you leave open the possibility that some might refrain from such behavior.

Or are you referring to the definition you give in the video where everyone lives by faith and reason? Of course you know most atheists will take you task on the idea that atheists' passive act of non-belief in god involves faith or is itself a faith (as in a belief system, or religion).

Rev. Robertson: After watching the video and finding you here in discussion, I'm just curious why there wasn't a formal debate? I do know he dislikes the format of moderated debates, so I guess I would have been surprised to see that. However, in the video, you greet Prof. Dawkins and tell him you will be speaking against him. What did that entail? Also, when you were talking to fuzzyBSc, you mention his atheist faith. Do you mean to say that atheism is a faith (as in a belief system)?

I never said that you did say that, I made that contention, characterising your over-arching belief. Please, take your own advice and pay attention.

I have yet to encounter an argument that is not personal experience that is also not readily refutable. Personal experience is unfalsifiable, and thus a legitimate personal/internal reason, but also a cowardly retreat from requests for supporting evidence and valid logic.

It seems that you can't differentiate between cognitive style and reality.
