Florida East Coast Railroad train 107, with RailAmerica SD70M-2, CITX SD70M-2, and a GP-40, lead a southbound 10,348 foot long Intermodal with piggyback and doublestack cars, through Melbourne Florida. A few minutes later, Florida East Coast Railroad train 222 with two GP-40s, is northbound with Tropicana cars and a mixed freight.

  • Yep, that's US1 and Lake Washington, the Cemex plant is right around that curve there's a local rock train (922 I think) that serves that area every couple of days around 10am in the morning.

  • What roads were these? US-1 and Lake Washington for the first clip?

  • Awesome catch, John! Are you sure that was 222? Looked to me like 220. They instated 220 as a Fort Pierce-Jacksonville train with the FTP consist. 222 would be carrying much more pigs than the train you saw.
