Heyyy im from Guatemala city but before i came to Seattle i live for about 9 months in San Pedro La Laguna, now i have 3 years in Seattle and when a saw your video , SHIT , i almost cry couse i miss my country and specialy San Pedro La Laguna, a lot of people says that San Pedro has a lot of drugs and all that thing but if you go with another thaugts and rest is awesome... some people doest understad couse their never been there yous you and me knows how beutifull is San Pedro right hahah bye

Yeah, drugs are ultimately a really good business and a source of income for most ppl there...the town is growing thanks to foreign dope money xD

When I was there in 2001 the "policia nacional civil" harrased and searched us everyday. Good thing they did not check in my shoes. Have the police mellowed out since then?

Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate seeing this video. I spent a truly magical three months living in San Pedro La Laguna at the end of 2005 (sept-dec). Although it seems to have changed, much has remained the same! Jarachik was my fav place! :) Thanks for sharing!
