London is bracing itself for an invasion by China's famous Terracotta Army. The 2,200-year-old clay statues are regarded as one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century. They were buried alongside China's first emperor, possibly to protect him in the afterlife. Around 20 of the lifesize figures will go on display at the British Museum next Thursday. Dalal Azar reports from the exhibition.

  • Qin is 4th empire of china, only a small vassal state of zhou at once

The zhou dynasty is the longest dynasty in chinese history. 1046 BC to 256 BC.

xia dynasty-shang dynasty-zhou dynasty are all republic

Qin is the first feudal dynasty in chinese history, not first empire.
