@DonHooker depending on your region, check the ski patrol website for your area. I live in Massachusetts, USA. so I visited the EMRI.com website. (eastern Massachusetts and rhode island)

A ski patroller puts his/her crossed skis uphill of the incident to indicate a hazard.
What does a "ski patroller boarder" do?

Hey, i'm an EMT and interested in a season with the Ski Patrol, any advice?

Great video! We often use colour codes instead of the 10-code system. As long as both ends of the radio agree what the code means.... although if you get a lot of visiting patrollers, I'd have a printed copy of the local codes to give out! Signed: 33978.

Yeah... I noticed that! The Patrollers at Lake Louise use a different code... I think its the Tango 7 etc.
Do we all use different codes? Or does this only differ dependant on zone? SnowValley Edmonton uses 10-22 for accidents, as opposed to this video's 10-10.

OnSnow Radio codes and techniques are a local protocol and can vary from resort to resort and Zone to Zone.
