    Yea the game takes place mostly in modern times. From an article I read this trailer is just the prologue of the main game. You'll face the Gold Paladin from the VGA trailer & the giant church titan. At the end of it you face Alucard(as seen in the trailer). Something happens & thats when you wake up in the city which I believe will be Chicago. Its going to have a Gothic feel/look to it so dont think you'll be running around Downtown Chicago as it looks now. Hopefully that helped :)
