Client Update Video.....changes that have happened as we have been working hard to rehab her body and muscles from a bout of EPM. Regaining rhythm and throughness with less and less effort.
The same routine can have a "calming" effect as its familiar, but that can also make them too routine and if things don''t go just so they can have a fit or feel like a fish outta water.....I am fairly routine in my videos cuz it helps me gauge time but typically, I like to mix up exercises...I do start with a warm up walk through the back then hit the jog-trot to warm up and sample the lope then from there bounce wherever dependent on what is stiff that day...
Hi Clifta ....in all honesty, yes I do ride with a timer to give me a general time frame so I can get through my horses otherwise I can dally a bit and next thing I know, its been a couple hours...hehe...but as for during the video....thats specifically to try to curb some of my gabbiness so I don't make more work for myself when I try to edit videos and get them to fit in the youtube allotted video time...lol
I've noticed you do about the same thing with each horse. Do you think it's good to do the same type of routine each time? Does that help to build confidence and trust with your horse?

Is the timer to time each session? How long is each session?
