Super Speeders Supra does 213 mph in Standing Mile

First attempt at a standing mile pass since I had the motor rebuilt. With no time to dyno the engine only had 13 miles on it at this point. I guess you can say its now broken in. The pass was followed up by a 2nd pass at the same speed 30 minutes later. Weather was around 90 degrees outside Miami where the run took place it was into a ~15 mph headwind. The 213 mph was 8000 rpm in 5th gear on the 28" road race tire. Both passes were with passengers.

If you ever HAVE driven a car with this much power, you'd know that hitting the gas pedal to the floor is NEVER going to result in a smooth shift. If he has this much knowledge of engines, I'm pretty sure he knows how to shift one.

For all u calling him bad shifter, read the fucking description. Had had ONLY 13MILES passed when it was build, of couse he didnt want to push it hard first 2 gears... and besides, it's his car, he can shift whatever he wants.

@darthnuruodo EPIC FAIL....you don't even know what a wastegate is!!!!!! A wastegate is used to divert exhaust gas away from the turbo turbines. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE EXPULSION OF INTAKE PRESSURE. You sound so dumb you should stop commenting. A bov is used to blow off excess boost pressure from the intake track when the throttle plate closes. BOV springs can hold up to and in excess of 100psi boost pressure, if you think this supra has like 100000psi and 100000000 hp KILL YOURSELF!!!!!!!

@madoggyd Yeah, BOV in your standard boosted car under the hood. Built Supra like this pushing that much boost has a wastegate under the passenger floor. Much bigger. If you don't believe me go buy SuperSpeeders 5 and watch the full details on this car. BOV could not handle releasing that much boost.
