Yep! I bit the bullet, and went out and got myself a Strat to use for demos. I get a lot of requests for stratocaster clips, but I'm just not a strat guy, so I'd been ignoring the suggestions...until now! I went out and played every strat at the local five and dime, and picked the one that I could almost play well. It's a Fender American Standard Stratocaster, fairly new, 2007 serial number, probably hit the shelves in 2008. Anyhoo...here's a quick little clip of my find. I'm glad to retire my 1986 62 Reissue...she's been good to me, but I just can't seem to play her like I used to...it's all Tele's and SG's for me these days.

That's kind of funny that you named your guitar Linda when it was Linda Keith who gave Jimi Hendrix his first Fender Stratocaster. It was a white American she stole from her then boyfriend Keith Richards hahah
