  • Hi thanks for your reply. Don't be sorry, not your fault at all. I'm just sorry that people like that road rager surfer in the car park ruined the otherwise wonderful time that those tourists were having in such a beautiful place. Oh be on the look out for a white stationwagon subaru liberty later model.

  • @sidridesatriumph Thanks for the details, will certainly be on the lookout and agree that its a shame that the actions of one can affect so many. Surf on my friend.

  • Just got back from there, it was great again. Only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was a loud mouth surfer that was harassing tourists and stopping them from parking their cars at the national park car park. Claiming it's for the surfers only! Something has to be done about that cause really that guy was quite aggressive, which would have been fine if he mouthed off to me cause I would've cracked his skull open!

  • @sidridesatriumph sorry to hear about this experience. In all my years in Noosa I've never encountered this person or anyone else behaving in a similar manner so it is disappointing to hear about someone acting in this manner as it is not what Noosa is all about. Appreciate you letting us know about this incident and we will certainly be on the lookout for any acting this way and appropriate action will be taken.

  • Such a beautiful place! What a shame the people are so rude.

I have been living here for 3 months and have experienced some extremely rude people :-( It makes me want to move back to Geelong, even though I love Noosa and the weather etc.

  • Sorry to hear that you've met some rude people after moving here. I can only say that we aren't all like that and I've been here over 5 years and for the most part, have found Noosa people to be friendly and welcoming. Maybe just give it time and you'll meet more like minded people. Unfortunately it doesn't matter where in the world you go, there are always going to be rude people.

Hoope you eventually enjoy living in Noosa as much as I do!

  • i live in brisbane and surf noosa alot its so fun but crowded, but i am originally from victoria i have encountered idiot locals at noosa and victoria and bali and maldives and everywere else i have been haha, theres allways going to be a dick and unless they get in my face directly i never take action just laugh it is hard sometimes because u just want to pumble them but hey let them be dicks and we will just b happy

  • @fnju89 I think they will become more welcoming and truly friendly when tourists stop coming to their place. Of course that means putting Noosa's tourism industry in jeopardy.

They should be thankful that not many nations of the world can attract tourists due to their boring or chaotic atmosphere. Some of them are inaccessible and not well known to the international community.

  • Enjoyed beach very much. One more thing the massage parlor should be for man too.Thank u

  • @fnju89 Hi there, it may be the same guy or it might not be. Don't do anything, I'm sure the bloke will either have stopped being a wanker, or he'll do it again and get his face stomped in. I really regret not stopping the bloke yelling at those poor women, we were heading out, had my baby daughter and baby nephew in the car so the mum's were very much against me getting out and having words. Take care.

  • @sidridesatriumph If its the same car , its usually parked about 200m from noosa sound shops.Heading towards hastings. At one of those units opposite the river houses. Im shure I have seen that car plenty of times.

  • @alr82 Yeh mate you get them up there. shame aint it? Some of the most rudest people I have met was in Noosa. But I guess the locals are sick of tourists , what they don't seem to realise is tourism is the heart of noosa. It keeps every Noosa Local in a job!!

  • cute girl~~~!

  • Queensland is beautiful but boring. I prefer living in Sydney.

  • @TheresOnlyOneNoosa Not your fault, it was a guy who owns a white stationwagon subaru late model with roof racks for his boards. It's just not fitting behaviour of such a truly wonderful place. I surf myself and it's all about zen for me, not road rage over car spots. Walk to the point if you truly love to surf and walk back.
